WOMBAT INFORMATION CENTER REVISION
Wombania's Wombat Information Center was updated and expanded, and now has even more information about wombats. If you've got a wombat question, we've got your answer!

BINKY RETURNS!
After almost a year away, Binky finally returns to Wombania. He unfortunately didn't win the X-Prize, but he remains committed to his dream of being the first Wombie in space. Read of his return here.

Wombies.com pointer was disabled. All the pages that used to be available at www.wombies.com are now available only through www.wombania.com. We hope this doesn't inconvenience too many people who may have bookmarked pages at wombies.com, but we felt it was necessary to keep things running smoothly. Wombies.com may one day be the home of the Wombies' own separate website.

MORE WOMBAT PICTURES
More wombat pictures were added to the Common wombat picture gallery and the Hairy-nosed wombat picture gallery. Some Wombat Information Center pages were also updated.

NEW WOMBAT PICTURES
A completely new Hairy-nosed wombat picture gallery was added to Wombania's Wombat Information Center. Pictures are of Nuggy, a Southern hairy-nosed wombat raised by Wendy Morphett and family.

CHATARO: 1994-2004
We are very sorry to report that Chataro, the Common Wombat from the Chausuyama Zoo in Japan, passed away in April from thyroid cancer. He was only 10 years old. You can see a picture of Chataro here.

WHAT'S NEW

WOMBANIA EXPANDS!
The Wombania website now includes The Wombat Information Center where you can find out all about wild wombats of the marsupial kind. It includes many links to hard-to-find wombat info on the net (see the References page).

WOMBANIA SITE DOWN
Due to an evil little Wombie hacker, the Wombania site was down for almost a week. If you sent an email to any @wombania address from Jan 1 to 7, 2004, we didn't receive it. Please resend it! There is no evidence to suggest this event is in any way related to Binky's disappearance, nor is there any evidence to suggest Binky was the hacker. Besides, Binky's not evil.
